Comments: Ok, so I entered in a modelling challenge over at spacebattles.com and I needed a nice backdrop for my model... So, I picked up a quick tutorial on making the Earth somewhere on the net. This is the result. Had some trouble with the atmospheric glow effect. That needs a good bit of work...but I don't know how to make it better. I guess I'll figure it out one day. You can view a quick DivX animation here(right click, save as...).

Comments: This is my fourth interior scene. The first was a bridge whose file became corrupt. The second was a subfighter prep-room that was eventually abandoned. The third time was indeed the charm which was the seaWraith maintenance compartment in "Sunday under the 'Wraith"(seen on the homepage of NCQ). I'm hopeful this scene will turn out as well as that one. And it seems that it's quickly moving in that direction.
